(1) Overview
DBY pneumatic electric diaphragm pump is a new type of pump. In recent years, due to breakthroughs in diaphragm materials, more and more industrialized countries have adopted this type of pump to replace some centrifugal claw pumps and screw pumps in industries such as petrochemicals, ceramics, metallurgy, etc. Currently, our diaphragm pumps are divided into QBY pneumatic and DBY electric types, and the product design is based on the prototype of ABEL company in the United States and has been appraised by the Ministry of Coal. The DBY type diaphragm pump is suitable for low-pressure applications, where the outlet pressure is ≤ 3Kg/cm2, QBY type is suitable for situations where the outlet pressure is ≥ 5Kg/cm2.
(2) Performance characteristics
The DBY series electric diaphragm pump has the following characteristics:
1、 No need for irrigation or water diversion, with a self-priming capacity of over 7 meters.
2、 With good performance, particles and mud with a diameter of less than 10 millimeters can pass through effortlessly.
3、 Due to the mechanical separation of the conveying medium and transmission by the diaphragm, the medium will not leak outward. And the pump itself has no shaft seal, greatly extending its service life. According to different media, the diaphragm is divided into chloroprene rubber, fluororubber, nitrile rubber, and polytetrafluoroethylene, which can fully meet the requirements of different users.
4、 Small size and light weight: Due to the use of planetary cycloidal transmission structure, the pump type has achieved a small size. Compared with pumps of the same type, its volume and weight have been reduced by about half.
5、 The medium flowing through the pump body can be divided into cast iron, stainless steel, rubber lining, and fluorine lining according to user requirements. Divided into ordinary, explosion-proof, and speed regulating types, this pump is currently being used in the following situations.

(4) Precautions
(1) Add oil to bearings and piston shafts;
(2) The export pressure shall not exceed 0.3 MPa;
(3) It is strictly prohibited to install valves at the mouth;
(4) When absorbing media that are prone to freezing, after use, drain and rinse the pump body to prevent damage.
(5) Correct selection of diaphragm
The main component of this diaphragm pump is the diaphragm, and selecting the diaphragm correctly can achieve twice the result with half the effort. Users must specify the properties of the conveying medium when ordering, so that different diaphragms can be equipped at the factory.

1、 Working principle and characteristics
The main working principle of an electric diaphragm pump is that the motor "4" drives the diaphragm "2" on the left and right plungers to move back and forth through the gearbox "3". Inside the left and right pump chambers, there are upper and lower one-way ball valves "1" installed. The movement of the diaphragm causes a change in the volume of the working chamber, forcing the four one-way ball valves to open and close alternately, thereby continuously sucking in and removing liquid.
